The building programme at the Royal New Zealand Air Force station at' Wigram, under which facilities are l>eing enlarged and improved, will not be completed until 1938, but already the aerodrome is the most modern in New Zealand. It will house men trained at Trentham, who will come to Wigram in January.
Buildings to be added include a store and staff accommodation, including that for the married men. New accommodation will be provided for the technical section, and there will be a new administration building and instructonal block. Two. new hangars are planned. The total staff at Wigram at present is 141, including 15 civilian employees, but this will be augmented in the near future.
