The mixed foursomes competition of the Mnnawatu Golf Club proposed for Saturday next in aid of the staff pension fund has lieen postponed to alater date owing to the Rugby Test match this week. A Rugby football match will he played at T 0.30 on Saturday at the Showgrounds between the Manawatu primary school representatives and Horowhenua. The visitors are to arrive l>y the 10 o’clock train and it is expected that they Will depart soon after lunch.
