SOUTHLAND'S TOUR.
SOUTH CANTERBURY BEATEN
Per Press Association. TIMARU, Aug. 11. The Southland Rugby team opened its northern tour with a match against South Canterbury to-day, securing a will by 11 points to nine. The conditions for the game were perfect and for an off day the attendance of 5000 was quite good. The match produced football of a high standard.
