TROUT FISHING.
OPENS ON NOVEMBER 1. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aim. 10. The trout fishing season in the Rotorua and Taupo districts will commence on November 1 and end on May 14 next year. It was intended to delay the opening of the new .season a fortnight in pursuance of the policy of the preservation of trout, but owing to a largo number of the overseas anglers coming to New Zealand for fishing na.ving already made their arrangements, it was dec : ded to adhere to the usual date, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon. W. E. Parry, stated to-night.
