TE ARAKURA.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) TE AHAKURA, Aug. 10. , At a meeting ol the Te Arakura Hall Society Mr J. J. Hume presided. Correspondence was dealt with, and various accounts passed for payment. Mention was rnado of the completion of the extension to the supper-room, which will bo a great asset, to tho ball. It was decided to reduce the rental of the hall for tho use of church services on Sunday afternoon Mr P. Hanson was appointed auditor for the society’s accounts. Miss B. Trueman, of Greymouth, has been the guest of Mr and Mrs J. H. Bennett for a few days. Mr F. Lower is spending a holiday in Wellington.
