SINGS TO CONVICTS. LONDON, July 26. Miss Gracie Fields, the well-known actress, sang to convicts in Maidstone Gaol. Clarence Hatry and Leopojd Harris, formerly prominent London business men, were among the audience, sitting on hard benches. Interviewed by the Sketch, Miss Fields said: “I recognised them. It was strange to think that they used to come to several of my shows in their heyday.”
