It is learned authoritatively that the Government’s policy is to treat wool as a necessity under the foreign exchange control regulation but not to admit it without limitation. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry will regulate the quantity that can be admitted, which will be based on last year’s importation in principle but excluding speculative imports. 'Hie aim is to remedy the adverse trade balance.
