CLEARING SALE.

Tho N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd. (Inc. in Eng.) report having held a very successful clearing sale on account of Mr F. Lucinsky, Avenue Road, Foxton. The herd of 31 cows, which was in tip top condition, was keenly sought after, bidding from a largo bench of buyers being brisk and animated throughout the sale. The whole herd averaged a shade under £ll, top price being £ls 10s. Two Jersey bulls offered made £7 10s nnd £9 10s. The 100 pullets offered mot with good competition, prices being up to 9s 6d each for White Leghorns and up to 9s for Rhode Island Reds. Seven store pigs* sold for 29s each, while an aged gelding and an aged mare made £27 and £2B 10s, respectively. A (otal clearance' was effected of the large offering of implements and sundries.
