BULLS.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) HULLS, Aug. 9. Flock House and Huntervillc thirds met at Flock Houec on Saturday, an interesting game resulting in the visitors winning by 18 to 8. Mr H. 11. C. Holland refereed. Bulls thirds played a friendly game at Bulls with a team from llongotea, the result being a draw, 8 all. The Defence Rifle Club held a shoot at 300, 500 and 600yds ranges on Saturday. Weather conditions wore favourable, and the scores wore: W. A. Stevenson, 33—34 —33—100; D. I’. Thorbv, 33—34—32—99; W. J. Jenkins, 32—35—31—98; F. Simpson, 32 34—29 —95; It B. McKenzie, 30—33—32 — 95. Advice lias been received that the challenge Rugby match, Marton Old Boys seniore v. Bulls set-tore, will oc plated at Bulls on Saturday week. The contesting teams wore winners of the B and the A sections, respectively, of the Move scheme of matches.
