RADIO ANNOUNCER’S MYSTERY GIFT. The following interesting anecdote appeared in the “N.Z. Radio Record” of June 25th:—“For 24 hours a bottle, carefully -wrapped, stood on the table under the announcer’s roster of IZB. It bore a tag addressed with the name of a well-known announcer, and the others speculated frequently on its contents. Indeed, if it had been cream it would have soon been butter, so much and so often was it sTiaken. Qf course the gentleman to whom it was addressed was booked off the day it arrived. Next day, when he rushed in, hot and tired after a { round of golf, the announcers gathered about while he picked it up, Lovingly he opened it, contemplating refreshments —only to discover it was cough mixture from a dear lady who had heard him cough over the air I” It is fairly safe to assume that the remedy supplied was Baxter’s Lung Preserver. “Baxters” is best for ail hoarseness, huskiness, sore throats, colds on the chest and bronchial I troubles. At all chemists and storcß, Is Gd 2s 6d. and extra large size, 4s Gd. Take care—tako “Baxters.”— Advt
