YACHT NAHLIN

BOUGHT BY KING OF RUMANIA. LONDON, July 29. King Carol, of Rumania, has bought Lady Yule’s luxury yacht Nalilin, in which she visited Australia and New Zealand early in 1932. It is tho yacht in which the Duke of Windsor, with the present Duchess in his party, cruised in the Mediterranean last year shortly before the events which led to his abdication. The Nahlin is lying in the Clyde, but will soon leave for Constanta, a Rumanian port on tho Black Sea, to refit. King Carol is visiting England incognito as Count. Vrancea. He was the guest of the King and Queen at luncheon at Buckingham Palace, and also visited Queen Mary at Marlborough House. The Nahlin, valued at £278,000, has a tonnage of 555, a speed of 17 knots, and carries a crew of 50. She is fitted with luxurious lounges, cabins, and bathrooms. Lady Yule, who was left £30,000,000 by her husband, Sir David Yule, an Indian merchant, called at Auckland on her AustralianNew Zealand cruise.
