ACTRESS’S DEATH.

LADY MAUD TREE. Received August 9, 8.5 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 8. The death lias occurred of LadyTree. Lady Maud Tree was one of the best known of tiie older generation of actresses, particularly in Shakespearean roles. She was aged 73. In 1883, the year she first appeared on tiie stage, she was married to Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree, the famous actor, who died in 1917. Lady. Tree had also appeared in a few pictures in character roles.
