GUNSHOT WOUND.
. Per Press Association. • TE AWAMUTU, Aug. 7. AValter Smith, aged 24, married, rabbiter, was removed to a private hospital this evening in a critical condition as a result of a gunshot wound in the forehead. It is alleged he entered the cab of a motor truck and. after a few minutes’ conversation with .his wife, who was standing beside the vehicle, loaded the rifle and pointed it to his forehead.
