RAILWAY LINE BUCKLED.
'•‘UNUSUAL HAPPENING IN ENGLAND. Received August 9. 12.45 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 8. The hottest week-end for four years buckled the Portland-Weymouth railway line, holding up crowded traffic for two hours. Hundreds of holidaymakers were forced to detrain and board buses. A similar happening is unknown in Britain.
