Grey Honour_and Fakanui dashed up the back in 49 2-ssec. , , Miracle, Aggravate and Silver Sight did half a mile up the back in 51sec, a time that Greek Gold and Matoru equalled. Concertpitch had Pelmet for a mate in a run down the straight. Dictate was in front of Palmyra after half a mile in 50 2-sscc. Royal Limond and Burglar did a working gallop once round.
