A CONTRAST.

(To the Editor.)

Sir, —It is very interesting and very significant to note the difference in conduct at meetings held by the New Zealand National Party and those held by the Labour Party. At the former certain people attend and by their senseless yelling endeavour to prevent speakers from being hoard by those who really wish to listen. The Labour meetings, on the other hand, are never subjected to interruption. The attitude of the “howlers” at these meetings of the New Zealand National Party is to try and prevent criticism of the party to which they belong. They are not a credit to either the Labour Party or to New Zealand I am, etc., PETER.
