WRESTLING.
BLOMFIELD AND LITTLE WOLF. Per Press Association. HASTINGS, Aug 6. Honours wero shared by “Lofty” Blomfield and Chief Little Wolf in the professional wrestling contest at the Municipal Theatre to-night. The bout was strenuous and interesting, though not exciting. Blomfield gained the first fall in the sixth round with a body press following a series of forearm jolts and three flying tackles. Tho falls were evened in the last round when Chief Little Wolf secured a dbathloek. In tho second professional bout Herb Brinson (Hastings) beat Frank Sykes (New' Plymouth) by two falls to one after a good exhibition. Brinson secured falls in the second and sixth rounds with a surboard and jackknife respectively. Sykes obtained his in the fourth round with a Japanese toe and leglock.
