Tho present season has been regarded by the majority of district sheep farmers as one particularly favourable for lambing, hut what must be a unique record was established at tho Weraroa Boys’ Farm this week. Seven Romney ewes gavo birth between thorn to no fewer than 23 lambs, five of the ewes presenting the farm with triplets, while tho other two, not to be outdone, each gave birth to quadruplets. The lambs are by Roumey rams.
