ATOTTCE is hereby given that it is the i-i intention of the Eastern Poha.n?ina Rabbit District Board of Trustees at its next meeting to bo held in the County Office, Pohangina, at 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 18th August, 1937, to make and levy a General Rate of one penny (Id) per acre on all rateable properties in the Board’s area in pursuance of the powers conferred upon it by Section 65 of The Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1937 and The Rating Act 1920. The raid rate to be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, loot, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1938, and is to be payable in one sum at the County Office, Pohangina, on the 2nd day of September. 1937. NOTICE is hereby given that the Court of Arbitration has as from the 9th day of August, 1937, extended the Tearooms and Restaurant Employees’ Award, dated 23rd December, 1936, so as to join and bind as parties thereto all industrial unions, industrial associations and employers not already bound therebv or parties thereto but connected with or engaged in the industry to which the award applies in the area covered by the award; hut excluding any industrial union, industrial association or employer covered bv any other existing award or industrial agreement insofar as such award or industrial agreement relates to work covered by the award. Any such un ; on, association or employer mar within one month after the first-mentioned date apply through me to the Court of Arbitration for total or partial exemption from be said award, but such union, association or employer will require to ,-onform to the said award pending the decision of the Court.
