RESERVE OF PILOTS.
CANDIDATES APPROVED. WELLINGTON, July 6. Candidates approved for enrolment in tlie Civil Reserve of Pilots and for training by their respective clubs, were announced last evening by the Minister of Defence (Hon. F. Jones). Seven of the candidates belong to the Canterbury Aero Club, a.nd five to the Auckland Aero Club. The nominations bv other aero clubs have not yet been dealt with. The candidates are as follow: —- Canterbury Aero Club: P. G. H. Newton, S. G. Baggott, G. F. Bridges, H. T. Francis. T. P. Gibson, L. R. Hewitt, H. R. Oliver. Auckland Aero Club: H. W. Lamond. L. J. Hill, J. D. Paterson, N. F. McLean, J. R. I’enniket.
