MERGERS OPPOSED

NORTHLAND LOCAL BODIES. Per Press Association. WHANGAREI, JulyC. Following the visit of Hon. \V. E. Parry, representatives of Northland local bodies met in Whangarei yesterday to discuss amalgamation and passed a resolution expressing their opposition. The resolution was circulated to the local bodies for ratification.
