TANGIMOANA.
(From Out- Own Correspondent.) TANGIAJOANA, July 5. Last week Tangiiuoana welcomed a visitor from Pitcairn Island. Airs Warren, an cx-scltool teacher. She visited the school and gave the children an isstructii c address on the life and customs of the residents of Pitcairn. About fourteen years ago a friendship was started by exchange of letters between Airs G. Houghton and Airs AVarren, and the pen friends have kept in touch with each other ever since. Airs Warren has taken the opportunity to visit her friend, with whom she is slaying. The Labour Party bold a euchre party and social evening last: week. 'The winners of the men’s prizes were; Mr T. It was agreed that the original proposal to erect a card and meeting room be proceeded with at once and that the proposed alteration to tho hall appointments and additional supper rooms be gone into at a later date.
