TRANS-ATLANTIC FLIGHT.

GOOD PROGRESS MADE. Received Julv 6, 1.20 p.m. LONDON, July 5. The flying-boat Caledonia is carrying 2320 gallons of petrol on her transAtlantic flight. Her weight on taking off was 45,0001 b. Her four 910 horsepower engines consume petrol at the rate of half a ton an hour. A wireless message from the Caledonia at 9.30 p.m. stated: “Good progress is being made across the Atlantic.”
