GLIDER’S ASCENT.
WORLD RECORD CLAIMED
MOSCOW, July 4
According to their barograph, which was picked up, two glider pilots ascended 15.100 feet, which is claimed to be a world record. After climbing 12,000 feet they encountered a hailstorm, a snowstorm, and a violent air curreij: which smashed the machine. The pilots parachuted to safety.
