FEILDING STOCK SALE.
The N.Z. Fanners’ Co-op. Diet. Co., Ltd., report on the Feilding stock sale of last Friday, as follows: —Slice]) came forward considerably in excess of advertised numbers. All classes met with keen competition, with a general hardening in values, fat ewes being Is 6d and & up, and wether lambs Is and Is 6d on the previous week’s rates. The market in particularly buoyant and it appears likely that values, particularly for in-lamb ewes, will in the near future show a further hardening in prices. Dairy sleek close to profit sold freely at the previous week’s rates. Backward soils were not in demand. Potter cows met with keen competition, with a firming in values. Beef, mostly ex-dairy sorts, sold at prices showing. a slight in’crease on last week. S.D. rams, 22s 6d, 23s 9.1, 24s 6.1, 25s 7d, 26s Id; ewe lambs. 24. s 9d, 25s 6d, 26s Id, 27s 6d, 28s 9d; wether lambs, 16s 6d, 18u. 19s, 19s 6d, 2(5s 3d: 2-til wether®. 24s 3d, 25s fid, 26s Id.
