HER.VIS. July 4. The European Grand Prix for 350 c c. motor cycles, of 205 miles, was won by James Guthrie in the record time of 147 minutes 31.4 seconds. He covered a lap at 87 miles an hour, a record. Fred Brith was second. l>cing l>eaten bv onlv one-fifth of a second after a terrific race, E. It. Thomas was third in 149 minutes 65.2 seconds.
