OFFER TO BUY DECLINED.

Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 2

The offer of the Government to purchase I! class radio stations lias been declined by the management of IZ.J Auckland. . The director (Mr A. C. Johns) informed the Postmaster-General that the station was not for sale and that he was anxious to retain the license. Mr Johns said that the management of IZ.J looked forward to receiving a subsidy commensurate with the services rendered by the station, and in line with statements made from time to time by the Government.
