The Buckley Golf Club handicappers have found it necessary to reduce the handicaps of the following players: Sillies, 32 to 28; Perry, 32 to 30; Beck, 32 to 30; Thompson, 32 to 30; Guerin. 32 to 26. Arising out of the decision, which was reached at the special general mooting of the union towards the latter part of last season that, at the conclusion of this season’s first round, the teams taking part in the senior competition Lie regarded into Senior A and Senior B divisions, it was decided at the meeting this week that the Shannon, Otaki, Athletic, and Foxton teams should now constitute the Senior A division, and Moutoa Estate, Punahau, Kuku, Wanderers, and Ilui Mai the Senior Mr and Mrs W. Bowling and family, who have been farming at Buckley have removed to Kuku. Misses D. and J. Hunter of Studholme Junction. South Canterbury, have been visiting Mrs T. Harrison. Mangaore. Mr and Mrs C. Lee and family loft on Monday to take up their residence in Palmerston North.
