MR MAZENGARB’S ADDRESS.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—l hope “C.T.” will excuse my butting into ibis discussion. “C.T.” asks several questions and says lie expects the National Party to repeat its former policy if returned. This is mere nonsense, been use most of the matters he objects to were emergency legislation to meet the conditions of a world depression. The “nasty medicine” he talks of was prescribed for serious financial illness; to anticipate further doses after recovery is silly—unless it is done to mislead. The recovery by the way is due to increased British prosperity paying more for our wool, meat, etc., not to any legislation.—l am. etc., AJAX July 1, 1037,
