OBITUARY
AIRS ROBERT ROBINSON
Alucli regret was expressed by the many friends of Alls Robert Robinson when the news was received of her death, which occurred at Palmerston North last week. For some months her health has given the family concern, and her passing marked the end of u patient struggle. Born in London, the fifth daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Robert Brewer, Airs Robinson came with her parents and the family to New Zealand as a baby, later living at Blenheim, where she received her education. It was in 1909, as Miss Daisy Aland Brewer, that she married Air Robinson, and they made their home in the Aorangi district. Of a bright disposition, Airs Robinson had always confidence in the future and was an industrious wife. She proved herself a great help to her husband, and a loving mother to her family. A daughter, Nancy, predeceased her mother some four years ago. Mrs Robinson had a deep Christian faith, and was a member of the Methodist Church, Feilding. The sons are Noel (Matamata), Arnold, and Herbert (Feilding), to whom, and their father, much sympathy lias been extended. Airs Robinson also leaves six sisters—Airs I;. M Brower (Wellington), Miss M. Brewer and Airs Tunnicliffo (Christchurch), Airs R. Seddou (Wanganui), Mrs Flood (Pieton), and Mrs Mason (Pultekohe). One sister, Airs DufFett, and two brothers, Ernest and Sidney, and one son, Brewer (who was killed at the Great War), predeceased her, The funeral, which took place from tho Methodist Church, Feilding, was preceded by a short service conducted by Rev. J. H. Allen and Rev. Mr Page. Nearly sixty ears followed the remains to tlie last resting place. The pall-hearers were Alessrs J. and AV. Robinson, C. Jepson, C. O’Sullivan, J. Rowan and C. Robertson.
On Sunday morning a memorial service was held in tlip Methodist Church, when Air Allen spoke of Mrs Robinson’s spirit of concern for other patients.
