ROBBERY AT SUVA
£4OOO TAKEN FROM BANK. NO LOCKS BROKEN. Received July 2, 12.55 p.m. SUVA, July 2. Tho Bank of New South Wales was robbed of £4OOO between midnight on Wednesday and daylight on Thursday. The money was taken from the strongroom, which contained a box ready to take to Tavua mines for the pay roll. The box was found across tho road, broken open and the cash and notes taken. A few drafts wore left. No locks were broken and the strongroom was intact.
