DEPUTY CHAIRMAN ELECTED. Received July 2, 12.5 p.m. LONDON, July 1. Lord Balfour of Burleigh has been elected deputy chairman of the National Bank of New Zealand. LORD BALFOUR OF BURLEIGH. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 2. Lord Balfour of Burleigh recently paid an official visit to New Zealand on the business of the National Bank of New Zealand. In the course of a tour of the Dominion extending over nearly 'three months he visited every branch. He met many of the bank’s leading customers and also a great number of leading citizens.
