N.Z. POET’S DEATH.
TRAGEDY IN ENGLAND. * Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 1. News has reached New Zealand of the death of Mr Geoffrey Pollett, the 529-year-old Auckland poet who had been in England for some time. Mr Pollett travelled round England in the same manner as Mr Darcy Cress-
well selling copies of his poems from door to door. He embodied his experiences in ci book, “Song for Sixponce,” which was published, by a [London firm in March last year. For I eight years before 1935 he is said to I have lived in Auckland.
