RUGBY FOOTBALL
TO-MORROW’S ATTRACTIONS
KIA TOA AND FEILDING 0.8.
Rugby patrons attending the Showgrounds to-morrow afternoon will liavo as entertainment in the senior division 11 io two most important matches of the day. On the oval, Kia 'Toil, winners of the first round, will meet Podding Old Boys, who now accompany St. Patrick’s in leading tho championship’s second round, with live points each. Kia Toa lies but one point behind Feilding Old Boys and St. Patrick’s, with a. match in hand so that, should they defeat Fcilding Old Bovs, Ivia Toa would make a material alteration on tho table. On tho other hand, should Feilding Old Boys win they will then bo three points in advance of Kia Toa, while a draw wolud leave them on tho same terms as they now occupy. On a scrutiny of tire championship table it appears that a great deal will hingo on tho ontcomo of to-morrow’s match on tho oval. If Kia Toa ran out winners of this, round they would take the season’s championship without question, but if another team won the second round, then the winners of the second round and Kia Toa (as winners of the first round) would play off. Tho outcome of tho day is not encompassed by tho Kia Toa-Feilding Old Boys match, however, for St. Patrick’s moot Old Boys on tho ground at the roar of tho grandstand. A win for St. Patrick’s would put them a point, ahead of Kia Toa even if the latter team won. At Feilding, Fcilding will be meeting Woodvillc at Johnston Park.
