NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,” and of all other acts and powers (if any) it-in hat behalf enabling, an Onler-in-Cotincil under the provisions of Section 11 of “The Local Government Loins Board Act, 1926,” as set out m Section 29 of “The Finance Act. 1932 (So. 2) having been obtained, the Buckley Drainage Board hereby resolves bv way of Special Order as follows:—That the board proceed to raise a loan of one thousand pounds (£1000) for the purpose of enabling the Board to undertake and carry out flood damage repairs. That such loan shall be called the “Flood Damage Repairs Loin, 1937.” That the currency of the said loan shall be for a period of ten years. That the interest oil the said loan shall bo at the rate of three pounds ten shillings (£3 10s) P er centum per annum and be payable ha Ityearly in each year. That the lorrn or security for the payment of P r ’ n ?.’P, a and interest on the said loan shall be ten debentures of one hundred pounds each and relative coupons in a > orn J in conformity with the provisions ot the “Local Bodies’ Loans Act, That the Board doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for repayment of the said' loan, and the interest, sinking fund and other charges thereon, a special rate on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Buckley Drainage Board on the following scale :—■ . . (1) ‘On all land classified A —id m the £. , . (2) On all land classified B —id in the £. , ~ ■ (3) On all land classified G —ld in the £. , „ i That the principal and interest shall be payable at the Bank of New Zealand, Shannon. That a ° eight pounds ten shillings (£8 10s) pel centum per annum be established in connection with the said loan. That the cost of raising the loan but not the interest and sinking fund for the first year of the said loan be paid out ot the loan. That the resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a special meeting of the Buckley Drainage Board to be held on Monday, the 2nd dav of August, 1937, at the Council Chambers Plimmer Terrace, Shannon, at Dated at Shannon this 30th day of J une, 1937.
