CONTROL OF REFUGEES.
HR IT ISI-I-F HEN CH ACTIVITIES. (British Official "Wireless.) Received Julv 1, 11.55 a.in. RUGBY, June 30. The Foreign Secretary (Jlr R. A. Eden) replying to a question in the House of Commons, said he had been in repeated communication with the French Government regarding the reception of further refugees from .Santander anti the setting up of the necessary measures of control The French Government was giving the question urgent consideration. Mr Eden stated that it was not possible'vet to establish definitely whether the Spanish merchant ship Cabopalos reported to have been sunk by a torpedo was sunk by a torpedo or a mine. He understood that General Franco's forces possessed some submarines.
