PORTUGUESE ATTITUDE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received July 1, 12.15 p.m. LONDON, June 30. In the House of Commons, Mr 11. A. Eden, replying to Commander Fletcher, said that Portugal had decided to discontinue for the time being the facilities to observers on the HispanoPortugucse frontier, but ponding a decision in regard to the naval patrol, Portugal would continue to observe her engagements. In respect to the export of arms to Spain, Mr Eden said, he hud replied to Portugal hoping that if the Non-Intervention Committee agrees to the re-establishment of maritime control she will allow observers promptlv to resume their duties. Meanwhile, the observers are remaining at the frontier posts.
