INDIAN “RED GUARD.”

ALLEGATIONS BY POLICE. From documents seized by the police recently it was clear that the object of the Indian “Red Guard” was to raise subscriptions and collect money by means of thefts and murders to purchase arms and ammunition to secure an armed revolution. Prosecuting counsel made that statement when five Bengali youths were charged at Alipore with being members of an unlawful organisation called the “Red Guard.” lliey were Samar- Gliose, Subodh Sarkar, Pulin Pal, Amiya Banerhjee and Robi Toy. It was stated that the president of the organisation had fled. The prosecutor said that the first four accused were parties to a criminal conspiracy to assist the Communist Party in India. He also stated that the “Red Guard” was recruited from schoolgirls.
