RANGITIKEI.
IUNGITIKEI, June 29. Air L. T. McLean presided over a meeting of the general committee of the Eangitikei Hunt Club. A programme tor the steeplechase meeting was approved. The chairman stated that there was a possibility of the GovernorGeneral (Viscount Galway) being present at the race meeting to present the trophies. The programme was adopted for the point-to-point steeplechases to bo held on the properties of Alessrs G. Lanipp, B. K. Simpson, A. S. Coleman and Death Bros. The question of a women’s competition was referred to the sub-committec. The following scores were registered at the weekly shoot of the Marton Miniature Rifle Club: P. Friedrich, 68 —C0—134 ; A.
