CARD EVENING.
BUSINESS GIRLS’ CLUB
Members of the Palmerston North Business Girls’ Club were entertained at an enjoyable bridge and 500 evening recently, the function being held by Mrs W, J. Day. a vice-president, to raise funds for the proposed clubroom. There was a good attendance, and Mrs Day received her guests wearing a frock of green floral maroeam. The rooms wore decorated with Iceland poppies and sirring bulbs, and sun pci was served. Prizewinners were: Bridge, Mrs Beecher and Miss D. Ken til) fire hundred, Mrs Cooksloy.
