CLEARING SALE.
Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on the clearing safe field on account of Mr E. J. Rase, Himatangi:—The cows winch came forward in good condition, many being late calvers with a percentage net in calf, were sticky of sale; nevertheless, any good August calvers realised fair values. Pigs, sundries, implements, etc., sold at late rates. Quotations: —August, calvers, £6, ,C 6 10s. £6 15s, £7, £7 ss, £7 10s; £7 15s, £B, £8 10s to £9; later calving cows, £3 10s, £4. to £4 10s: sows to farrow, £2 10s, £2 15s, £3 to £3 7s 6d: slips, Bs. 10s, 11s 6d: Massey Harris drill, £l6: set discs, £ls 10s.
