Mr A. Montgomerie is visiting Rotorua. Mrs Nicholson has returned from Christchurch. The friends of Mr and Mrs R. Bennett will regret to le.nrn of the serious illness of their eldest son, who is a patient in the Palmerston North Hospital. Recently one of the workmen on the temporary bridge had an unpleasant experience when he fell into the river, fortunately suffering no ill effects.
