U.S. STRIKE LEADER.
CORRUPTION HINTED AT. ORILLIA (Ontario). June 27. The Premier (Mr Mitchell Hepburn) in an address, alleged that President Roosevelt was favourably influenced toward the Committee for Industrial Organisation bv Mr John Lew'iS s conti ibuton of 500,000 dollars to the presidential campaign. The Premier averted that Mr Lewis is collecting 46,000.000 dollars annually in dues and asked: “Is it any wonder he.can corrupt Governments with a slush fund of that size?”
