JAPANESE HOPES. CO-OPERATION WITH BRITAIN. LARGE LOAN DESIRED. (United Press Association—By Elec'.ric Telegraph.—Copy right.) Received Junq 20, 12.30 p.m. LONDON. June 28. The Daily Telegraph’s Tokio correspondent says: “Conversations which aro proceeding in London with a view to arranging Anglo-Japanese co-opera-tion in China are occupying the chief attention of the nation. Japan is undoubtedly most anxious to join Britain, and possibly the United States, in a large loan to China tor economic reconstruction. Japanese experts are ot the opinion that China needs at least £200,000,000.”
