BUILDING SOCIETY.
Mr S. J. Watson presided over the monthlv meeting of the directors of the Star-Bowkett Building Society last night, others present being Messrs C. E. Dempsy, AL A. Eliott, J. B. Gerraad F. Jackson, W. Mundy and W. S. \Voodroofe. In No. 3 group two loans of £2OO and one of £3OO were granted. A Wocdville shareholder in No. 4 group was granted a loan of £SOO and a loan of £IOOO, drawn in No. 7 group, was at the request of the shareholder deposited in tne Post Office Savings Bank. A loan of £SOO in No. 8 group was approved. It was resolved to hold the next ballots and sales at the February meeting owing to the holidays.
