BABY’S SILENT PLEA.
MILLIONAIRE’S HEART SOFTENED NEW YORK, Nov. 29. Mr Clarence Mackay, the multimillionaire cable magnate, appears to have responded to the cooing of the baby of Mrs Irving Berlin, wife of the jazz composer. Mr Mackay had disinherited his daughter, but his heart melted at the blandishments of his, day-old granddaughter.
