DEMPSEY AND KEARNS'PART. BELATED HONEYMOON. LOS ANGELES. April 17. Before leaving on a belated honeymoon, Jack Dempsey announced, the end of his business partnership with Jack Kearns. They jointly own £200,000 worth of Los Angeles real estate, which will be sold during the next few months in order to divide the proceeds. Dempsey declared that he is unwilling to fight again under a contract which gives Kearns an equal share with himself. LOS ANGELES, April 16. Instead of defending his title this summer, Jack Dempsey, with his bride and director, McDermott, will tour England, France and Germany. The champion leaves this week for New York to complete his first motion picture. He will then sail. They have already secured their passports. Jack Kearns, failing to get the champion to enter the ring, is turning to other fighters, and also to movie and theatrical activities.
