T. Bennet, T. Carlyle. . . . . . Napier's new council is constituted as follows: Messrs C. R. Spackman, T. A. Heath, R. W. Goodyer, F. Rice, C. H. Wilkie, J. C. Bryant, H. J. Harman, J*. W. Callaghan, A. MeOar thy, R. R. Woodcock, P. Wright. Cambridge.—Mayoralty: Mr P. i. Richards 353, Mr C. H. Priestley 310. For the Power Board: Messrs M. Wells (present chairman) 448, and W. ,1. White 333, were elected, and Mr C. H. Priestley 324, defeated
