TENNIS CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent.)
A special general meeting of the I'oxton Tennis Club was held on Monday night, Mr C. Simmons presiding. The following officers were elected: —Secretary, Mr C. I’roctorj assistant secretary, Mr N. Ross; treasurer. Mr Caughley. The matter of holding the annual ball was discussed and it was decided to hold a ball early ill July, provided on orchestra can he obtained. The following danco committee was arranged: Mrs S. Austin, Mrs L. C. Bryant, Misses G. and I. Robinson, Owen, Austin, J. MeMurray, Walsh, Stevenson, Delaney, B. Speirs and Barber, and Messrs W. Ross, 1,. C. Bryant, Shaw, Walls, Simmons. W. Hyiiee, R. MeMurray, Caughley and Drs. Rowley and Wylie.
