During the present month, up to an early hour this afternoon, 24 applications for employment had been received at the local oflico of the Labour Department. Eight of the applicants were found work. Members and supporters of the St. Andrew’s Football Club are reminded that a social evening will bo, hold in the clubs rooms to-night at 8 o’clock.
